Opportunities for Volunteers
As parents, your participation is essential so that learning can be a happy experience for your child. There are many ways in which parents and relatives can contribute their time. A few examples are helping to prepare dinner for parent meetings, participating in your child’s classroom, or volunteering to lead a special activity. If you have a unique talent or special activity that you would like to share please contact us to arrange time in the classrooms. We appreciate and value your participation! Our newsletter includes a schedule of upcoming Parent Meetings.

Bambinos Advisory Board
We have an advisory board formed by parents and community members. We meet every other month for two hours. Please let us know if you are interested in being part of this board.

Parent Meeting
Every month we have a parent meeting. On this day your child’s class will be open to all parents. You will have the opportunity to meet other parents and to learn first-hand about your child’s development. All the projects will be on display. Also, the teachers will be available to answer any questions you may have. If you would like to spend some one-on-one time with your child’s teacher, please make an appointment at the front desk.

Birthdays of the Month
The First Friday of each month we have a big celebration for all the children who have a birthday during that month.

Newsletter
Each week you will receive a newsletter via email. In our newsletter you will find a letter from the director, curriculum notes, classroom updates, upcoming events and more.

USDA
Bambinos provide delicious and nutritious meals that meet USDA guidelines. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the State of Washington prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age and disability. Click here to see our menus.

Accreditations
We are the only Day Care in the State of Washington that holds the Eco- Healthy Child Care Certification by the Oregon Environmental Council. www.oeconline.org

We are also members of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This is a professional organization dedicated to helping every child to get the highest quality of care and education available. NAEYC accreditation continues to be one of the most reliable signs of quality care. The NAEYC provides the guidelines for evaluation of each center that you visit. www.naeyc.org
