Columbia Gorge Arts in Education and Bambinos are partnering
together to offer an incredible children's summer program
featuring 11 of the most talented local artists.
Each
week will be lead by a different artist. Children will
be able to explore and actively participate in many
different forms of art, from Japanese drumming to painting,
glass works, theater, bucket drumming, mosaic and many
other activities.
These
camps are designed for children from 3 to 12 years of
age. Each age group will have their own classroom
and age appropriate activities. Enclosed is the complete
list
of artist and activities.
These
art camps will run from 9:00am—1:00pm. We will also have
many other fun and creative
activities in
the afternoons
including field trips, swimming, cooking, bouncing
in the bouncy house, etc.

- July 25-29: Visual Arts - Painting & Drawing with

- August 1-5: Fabric Art and Mask Making with
Pam Starling
- August 8-12: Print Making with Abby Merickel
- August 15-19: Origami with Eileen Holzman
- August 22-26: Bookmaking, Murals & Papier

**NEW** OUT & ABOUT CAMP
During this 11-week program children will explore the
Gorge by hiking, cooking, visiting historic sites, swimming,
biking,
field
trips
to Portland (Zoo, OMSI, etc.) In this unique camp, the
group of children will have a leader that will take them
from the center at 9:00am and will bring them back at 3:00pm.
They
will be Out & About the entire day. They will also
have the option to participate in some of the art classes
if they are interested.
Children
ages 6 to 11 years of age will be able to participate
in this camp on a daily or weekly basis. Limited to
10 children!!
$225.00 per week OR $50.00 per day. Additional fees
may apply for entries to museums and transportation
to Portland.
SPANISH
IMMERSION CAMPS
Our Spanish Immersion Program is the heart of our multilingual
learning center. With a proven, step-by-step curriculum,
we build the necessary skills for your child to become
successful in a second language.
Spanish Classes will be available:
