SUMMER 2010

BRING A FRIEND AND SAVE 10% ON FIRST CHILD'S TUITION THROUGH MAY!

TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED TO/FROM WHITE SALMON & THE DALLES!

We are excited to announce our 2010 Summer Program. We have an amazing series of mini-camps planned for children of all ages. Toddlers, Preschoolers, Kindergarteners, and School-Age children are all welcome to join us for a dynamic summer packed with age-appropriate activities.
Each week will look a little different as we are fortunate to have an extensive line-up of professionals from the community visiting to share their knowledge and skills with your children. We are committed to offering a dynamic balance between the carefree fun kids look forward to in the summer with the ongoing learning and sparking of curiosity that parents want for their children.

School-Age campers will have their own program with more advanced activities. Below is a general outline of the focal point of each week. There will be multiple off-site fieldtrips for older children every week. Please note that while the Toddler and Preschool programs will be influenced by the themes of the week, their programs will be separate.

June 14 – 18: Art Week with Mark Nilsson and Shanda Pickardt
Mark and Shanda will teach the children about different creative mediums and art forms. In addition to creating inspiring artwork each day, we will visit Mark’s Studio and explore public art displays in Hood River.

June 21 – 25: Art Week with Shelley Toon Hight
Our dramatic mosaic in our entryway was created by Shelley Toon Hight and your children last summer. This year, Shelley has planned an impressive project that your kids will not want to miss out on. A variety of mediums will be represented and the results will be prominently displayed for all to see.
