May I
bring special food for my child?
Some of the children that attend the program have food allergies as well as
some dietary restrictions. We ask you to not send any food to the classroom.
As you can imagine if someone has something different everybody else wants
it. If your child has special needs that we are not aware of, please let us
know and we will work with you in establishing a meal that your child can eat.
For children under 2 years of age, you may send special food such as breast
milk, formula, food you made at home, etc.
Do you offer
part–time childcare?
We offer care on a full-time, part-time, and/or drop-in basis. We are accustomed
to being flexible to accomodate the schedules of busy parents.
Our day it is divided in the morning and afternoon. The cut off is after lunch
(12:30pm). Some children attend the morning or afternoon, others full day.
A full day is up to 11 hrs of care and a half day is up to 6 hrs.
What are my program choices?
Does my child have to take
a nap?
Every day we have 1 hour of quiet time after lunch.
Your children do not have to sleep but are encouraged
to rest and have some quiet time so they can recuperate
and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. During this time
the children who need
to sleep will be provided individual cots. Those who
do not sleep will be encouraged to sit quietly and
read, color, do a puzzle or participate in a quiet
activity.
