Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Center Licensed?
All of our centers are Certified and Licensed by the Child Care Division (CCD). A yearly review is conducted including an onsite visit. We are also certified by USDA to provide meals for our children.

Can I bring special food for my child?
Some of the children that attend the program have food allergies as well as some dietary restrictions. We ask you to please not send any food to the classroom. As you can imagine if someone has something different everybody else wants it. If your child has special needs that we are not aware of, please let us know and we will work with you in establishing a meal that your child can eat. For children under 2 years of age, you may send special food such as breast milk, formula, food you made at home, etc.

Do you offer part – time childcare?
We offer full time, part time and drop-ins.

Our day it is divided in the morning and afternoon. The cut off is after lunch (12:30pm). Some children attend the morning or afternoon, others full day. A full day is up to 11 hrs of care and a half day is up to 6 hrs.

Can I change the Schedule? Do I have to give notice?
Permanent changes to the schedule must be submitted by the 20th of the month. Any extra days or extra hours will be billed at the end of the month.

Does my child have to take a nap?
Every day we have 1 hour of quiet time after lunch. Your children do not have to sleep but are encouraged to rest and have some quiet time so they can recuperate and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. During this time the children that need to sleep will have their individual cots. Those that do not sleep will be encouraged to sit quietly and read, color, do a puzzle or other quiet activity.

When is the tuition due?
Tuition is due by the 5th of each month. Late fees may apply.
